Disappointed. Not Correctly Advertised
My child saved up her own money to purchase this collectible Box Set of the Judy Moody series and carefully chose from this seller herself. We were led to believe from the item description that we would be receiving the product advertised, when instead, we received a loosely wrapped compilation of the book series with mismatched covers. Not what was advertised. Disappointed.
WARNING—you will NOT get what you paid for!!!!
Well my daughter’s birthday is 2 days away and I wish I had opened the package I ordered sooner because this is NOT what I paid $50 for! This is supposed to be a box set, not a shrink wrapped compilation. Also, I specifically paid extra for the set shown because I read in other reviews that the version we received was in U.K. English with words that may be unfamiliar to kids in the US. I’m not pleased.

Amazon, I Love you... BUT sometimes you suck! This item is described as the publisher being US publisher Candlewick Press Inc., who holds the registered trademark for Judy Moody. What it fails to mention is that this version is printed and bound in Great Britain by the publisher Walker Books. Written in two very different versions of English. Barnes and Noble will be getting my business for the repurchase of this book set.
Amazing Books!
My daughter is in 3rd grade and just loves these. There is a lot of real information in these books that we love to look up. In Judy Moody saves the world they talk about the Costa Rica rain forest. We looked it up and my daughter donated 10 dollars of her own money. It really made me proud and helped in engage her in the books more. Judy Moody is a must read!
Granddaughter Loved them
Our 7 year old Granddaughter tore through these books...she reads above her grade level so take that into consideration when choosing.
Not a good box -reading material excellent-
I am giving this set two stars, the box Fell apart, I think the set on books is to Heavy for the quality of carton and glue that support it.
Not as advertised
Bummed out that the seller advertised the Judy moody box set from the American publisher Candlewick but the set I received was from the UK Walker publishing instead. I bought these specifically for the publisher listed.

My 9 year old daughter loves these books. My 12 year old son even sneaks them to read. He likes a funny quick read occasionally.
